YCCE Innovation Council
Yeshwantrrao Chavan College of Engineering has established institute innovation council (IIC) as per the guidelines provided by MHRD Innovation Cell (MIC) and AICTE. The main object of IIC is to encourage, inspire and nurture young students by exposing them to new ideas and process of resulting in innovative activities & entrepreneurial in their formative years.

Celebration of Innovation Day
Yeshwantrao Chavan college of Engineering celebrated birth anniversary of Late Dr.A.P.J Abdul Kalam as “innovation day” on 15th October 2019.The program is organised by institute innovation council of YCCE.The co-founder of Nagpur angel, Shri.Shashikant Chaudhary was the chief guest of program. He motivated and encouraged students by giving live example of student entrepreneurs and their sucess stories. Dr.U.P.Waghe, Principal, YCCE was the president of the program. During his presidential address, the necessity of innovation and incubation ecosystem within institute was focused. At the beginning, Dr. Sandip Khedkar, Vice President, IIC, brief about the event and MHRD initiatives towards promotion of innovation and incubation within institute. Dean academic Dr.A.V.Bapat sir address the students and encourage them about participation.Total 76 students and 2 faculty members were felicitated during the program for prominent contributions in innovation and research. The vote of thanks proposed by Dr.Nita Rehpade. The faculty coordinators and student coordinators of IIC organised this program under Institute innovation council. All departmental heads, Deans, faculty members and students were present for the program.
