YASH 22.0 Report

The most awaited techno cultural extravaganza of the year – YASH 18.0 was held in Yeshwantrao Chavan college of Engineering, Nagpur during 20th March to 27th March 2022.

 

The gala event was inaugurated at the hands of Dr. U. P. Waghe, Principal, YCCE, Dr. P. K. Dakhole, Registrar, YCCE. Dr. A. P. Munshi, Dean, Students’ Activities, all heads of various departments were prominently present on this occasion.

The programme got overwhelming response from the students of various engineering institutions in and around Nagpur. Almost 2000 students participated in various technical, cultural and sports events in YASH 22.0.

The main technical events organized under the banner of YASH include LAN Gaming, Smackdown, Autocad, Town Planning, Lathe Backon, Need For Speed, T – Tycoon, and Make in India.

Vollyball, Basket Ball, Box Cricket, Futsal, Chess, Carrom, kabaddi and Cricket were the prominent sport events which have been organized in YCCE campus.

The most crowd pulling events of YASH were the cultural events like Fashionista (The intercollegiate Fashion Show), Freshers (Only for First Year), Symphonica (The singing Competition), Razzmataaz (The dance competition), Body – Building competition, Marathi Drama and Bhairavi– The mega event.

The featured attraction of this year’s event was the live performance by the celebrity artists Mr. Avdhoot Gupte, the famous singer and musician in the Indian film industry.

The another main attraction of this year’s YASH was Bhairavi– The mega event where the upcoming talent of YCCE in singing, dancing and acting has got a big platform. Shri Datta Meghe Auditorium in YCCE campus was jam packed and the event got the tremendous response by the students of YCCE. Bhairavi was marked with the presence of Hon’ble Shri DattajiMeghe, Chairman, NYSS, Smt. ShalinitaiMeghe and Dr. Mrs. M. M. Kshirsagar, Principal, RGCER, who appreciated the students’ performances and enjoyed the event.

An enthusiastic team of students and a motivating team of faculty coordinators under the guidance and leadership of Dr. A. P. Munshi, Dean’ Activities of YCCE, Mr. V. R. Doifode, Asst. Dean, (Technical and Cultural Activities) made YASH 22.0 a grand success.

Mechfiesta-2022

Mechanical Engineering Department of Yeshwantrao Chavan College of Engineering organises events that acknowledges technological innovations with accolades every year. Department of Mechanical Engineering in its continuous efforts to recognize excellence in areas of technology among its scholars organises ‘Mechfiesta’ every year. Participants are invited form leading technological institutes. Awards are in the form of prize money and recognition.

This year Mechfiesta-2022 was organized on 1st and 2nd Sept at YCCE, Campus. The fest was inaugurated by Er. Vaibhav Zarkar, HR Head TAAL LTD., Dr. J.P.Giri, Head Mechanical Engineering and Dr. R.B.Chadge , . Events like Lathe Beckon, Assembly Tycoon, Trusted War, Junk Yard war, Parabubling and CREO war was organized by the students which really help to judge the technical ability of the students. Technical Quiz and Debate competitions were organized to judge the inherent knowledge of the students.

Students from Mechanical Department organized the event ‘Yaad karo Kurbani-75.0′ in the memory of freedom Fighter followed by Flashmob.

The event got over whelming response from the student so fall the departments in the YCCE as well as the other institutions. COMPUFEST- 2K22
ELECTRRICA 22.0

Team SOFEE of Electrical Department, YCCE has successfully organized its annual techno-cultural and sports fest , ELECTRRICA 22.0 from 2 sept to 4 sept 2022. The fest consisted of 18 mind-boggling events of technical ,cultural and sports terrain respectively. The fest started with various staggering events like Robo race, Techtrix, Circuit design, Debate, carrom, minute to win it, Poster making and futsal which were driven on 2 september, followed by Robo soccer, Box cricket, PCB design, Techcross, Smart people smart suggestions on the next day .On 4 september various events like Shutter Arena, Mind fest, Technicarts, BGMI, and Pen it down were conducted in online mode.

HStudents from various other colleges participated in many events and enjoyed the fest. All the 18 events were successfully managed by the whole SOFEE committee. All the winners were the given the worth prizes and certificates were provided to all the participants. The fest became a grand success with the hardwork and dedication of all committee members and constant support of SOFEE in-charge Prof. Vaibhaw Doifode.

Events Conducted by NSS Unit of YCCE upto December 2021 in 2021 - 22
YATHOGATHA

On the special occasion of Independence Day, NSS | YCCE hav succesfully organized YATHOGATHA – Salute to the Real Heroes. The event was all about a tribute to our real heroes who gave their life and made great sacrifices, commitment, hard work for the safety of the nation.

The event YATHOGATHA was the biggest virtual event of NSS | YCCE. The event was in collaboration with 10 big clubs of YCCE i.e. Dance Club, Drama Club, PoetryClub, Music Club, Photography Club, Kalasparsh, Literature Club, Social Club Civil Department, Team Pragyastra and YCCE Media. All the clubs participated in this event have shown great response with different ideas and activities performed by their club members. The responses were submitted in the video format.

NSS | YCCE made the combined video with the responses received from different clubs. At 7:00 pm, the event was premiered pn the official YouTube Channel of NSS | YCCE. The anchoring was done by Ms. Sakshi Kohad as well as the introduction of YATHOGATHA was delivered by Ms. Kavita Sharma. Vote of thanks delivered by Mr. Kinshuk Karmarkar. At the end, National Anthem was played which was recorded by the Core Members of NSS | YCCE. The event was highly appreciated by everyone.

Core committee thanked Dr. A. P. Munshi Sir (Student Activity Incharge, YCCE) and Ms. Nisha Wankhede Mam (Faculty Incharge, NSS | YCCE). Also thanked all the clubs for their particpation as well as all the coordinators and members of respective clubs for their coordination and contribution to the event and helped for making it a huge success.

VOTER ID REGISTRATION DRIVE

NSS Unit of YCCE has successfully organized Voter Id Registration Drive on 25th and 26th November 2021. The main purpose of the Drive was to make students, faculties and other staff of YCCE along with citizens aware about the importance of Voter Id and provide them a chance to register for their ID.

NSS | YCCE have registered over 100+ citizens for Voter ID registration. Two facilities were provided to them as New registration for voter ID and any correction in previous voter ID. All the responses were recorded by NSS YCE and directly them to the Government sites. The drive was under the guidance Dean of Student Activity Dr. A.P. Munshi Sir and Faculty Incharge Kohle Sir. Some Special moments of the drive are uploaded on the official Instagram and Twitter handle of the club.

Faculty incharge appreciated Core Committee of NSS YCCE for their constant work towards the drive. Core Committee thanked all the members who registered under this drive. All the registered members thanked NSS | YCCE and appreciated for arranging such useful Drive. The drive was successfully managed by NSS | YCCE.

6th GRADUATION CEREMONY OF YCCE, NAGPUR

The Sixth Graduation Ceremony of Yeshwantrao Chavan College of Engineering, Wandongri, Nagpur after gaining the autonomous status was held at Shri Datta Meghe Auditorium, YCCE Campus, Nagpur on 29th February, 2020.

Hon’ble Shri Devendraji Fadnavis, Leader of Opposition, Maharashtra Legislative Assembly,    Ex-Chief Minister, Maharashtra State was  Chief Guest on the occasion, Hon’ble Shri Dattaji Meghe, Chairman, Board of Management, YCCE presided over the function. Other dignitaries were also eminently present on the dias. The Graduation Ceremony covered passed out graduands of 7 UG programmes and 9 PG programmes of batch 2018-19.

YCCE, conferred 18 Gold, 7 Silver and 7 bronze medals and 3 citations and special medal in the name of Late Dr. Shekhar D. Bhole and Mr. Sanjeev Kumar Das to the graduate and post-graduate toppers of 2018-19 batch in the 6th Graduation ceremony on Saturday. During the ceremony Gold Medals, Silver Medals and Bronze Medals were awarded to the Topper students of UG and PG programmes based on their CGPA (Cumulative Grade Point Average). Also Overall Toppers from B.E., M. Tech. batch, including Females Toppers and most outstanding students have been selected.

The Hon’ble Chief Guest joined the procession with ceremoniously preceded to the auditorium, led by Registrar Dr. P. K. Dakhole, of the Institution, holding ‘Rajdand’ in his hand. All the dignitaries occupied their seats on the dais and the ceremonial ‘Rajdand’ was placed by the Registrar, depicting the formal ceremonial beginning of the Graduation ceremony.

Amongst the other prominent dignitaries, all BOM members including, Dr. Ram Nibudey, Dr. SatishWate, Dr. S.R. Choudhary, Shri Gulabrao R. Thakare, and Dr. P.B. Bahatkar & Prof. S.S. Akant attended the proceedings.

The Principal invited the Chairman of various BOS, to call the graduate students of their discipline who have been certified to receive Degree of RTM Nagpur University. While the M.Tech students of all programmes were called by Dr. P.K. Dakhole, Registrar, YCCE. The Chairman, BOM, ShriDattajiMeghe then administered the pledge to all Graduands.

Dr. U. P. Waghe, while welcoming the dignitaries and students, highlighted the achievements of YCCE and various efforts taken for strengthening the quality of education.  In his speech, he stated that 1197 UG students and 186 PG students have passed out from the institute from the 2018-19 batch. More than 70% students from the batch have been placed in reputed Software and Core industries. Numerous students have also opted for higher studies in reputed institutes of India and abroad. 

As a Chief Guest of Ceremony Shri Devendraji Fadnavis, Leader of Opposition, Maharashtra Legislative Assembly, Ex-Chief Minister, Maharashtra State laid emphasis that today in the world of technology the big data is changing our lives like anything and development of new sustainable technologies should be adopted to bring the desired changes.

He has also given emphasis that getting degree alone will not make a person graduate but how meaningfully they contribute that knowledge to the society, makes a lot of difference and urge students to contribute meaningfully to the society.

He shared his experience and wisdom and lauded the efforts of the college and congratulated the YCCE on shaping the students well to face and excel in the outer world. He also wished luck to the students and faculty members for more such success in future.

Ms. Dhvani M. Kothari – BE Computer Technology was awarded with Late Dr. ShekharD.Bhole overall topper for B.E Degree Program and for being topper of Computer Technology BE Program Batch 2018-19 and overall female topper of 2018-19.

Mr. Shubham Bawaskar BE was awarded with Mr. Sanjeev Kumar Das – medal for Most outstanding student Award B.E. Degree Batch 2018-19 and received Gold medal and citation.

Mr. Sanket Gajanan Padishalwar was awarded Gold medal for being topper of M.Tech in Structural Engineering program in 2018-19 and citation for being the overall topper of post graduate students of 2018-19.

AAROHAN-2019 at YCCE


The Induction Programme ‘Aarohan’ 2019 was organized at Yeshwantrao Chavan College of Engineering, for the B.E. first year students admitted   in the academic session 2019-2020.The Programme was graced with the presence of Hon’ble Shri.Datttaji Meghe, Chairman, NYSS. He motivated students and asked them to enhance their skills. The Chairman also motivated students by distributing Laptop to the topper students of academic session 2018-19. The Principal of YCCE, Dr. U.P. Waghe, welcomed the students and briefed them about the initiative and collaboration of the institution. The Dean Academic Matters, Dr. A.V. Bapat was also present for the occasion.  Prof. A B. Thatere, the B.E. first year Co-ordinator proposed the vote of thanks. Prof. Prof. N.K Thakre took efforts to turn the programme successfully.

SPECIAL ORIENTATION PROGRAMME, 2019

A Special Orientation Programme on Autonomy was organized for the parents of B.E. first year students admitted in the session 2019-20 on 14th September, 2019 at Shri Datta Meghe Auditorium.  Dr. U.P. Waghe, Principal YCCE addressed the parents and gave information about the college activities, results and achievements. Dr. A.V.Bapat, Dean Academic Matters explained about the Autonomy and also answered the quires and taking note of their suggestions. Prof. D.R. Raut, COE, YCCE explained about the examination system and also answered the questions raised by the parents. Dr. Shiney Suraj, Councilor, MGI Group, through her presentation discussed about developing rapport with their wards which will help the students for holistic development.  Prof. Ajay B.Thatere, Coordinator First Year, proposed a vote of thanks. The committee members put in efforts for the success of this programme

ICON 19.0

Department of Electronics and Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering of YCCE had organized a mega event ‘ICON 19.0’ a National Level Technical Fest on 23 & 24 August 2019.  This mega event had huge success and witnessed 650 entries in two days for 12 different technical events. The Techfest was inaugurated by Chief Guest Er. Amar Akre, MD, SAP Control Systems, Nagpur and the Guest of Honor Dr. A.V. Bapat, Dean (Acad. Matters).  Dr. P.T. Karule, HOD (EE) and Dr. M.S. Narlawar, HOD (ET) was also present on the dais.

The event was a mega success where a technical workshop was conducted in collaboration with Google crowd source. This year ICON was in collaboration with IEEE SB of YCCE. The valedictory function was organized on 24th August 2019 where the prizes of worth rupees 40 thousand were distributed for all the winners of the different events

Induction Program

Department of Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering has organized ‘Induction Program’ for III Sem. students. The program is conducted to make aware the student about the departmental Activities, Laboratory and Staff. The program is started with the brief introduction of the department by Dr. M.S. Narlawar. HOD, ETC. Later, each faculty from the department introduced themselves and briefs the students about their subject and specialization. Faculty from different area of interest presented their short presentation about the technology, recent trends, its application and various job opportunities of their respective specialization. Students also responded well and the entire session was interactive at both the end. The newly enter students were introduced to all the Laboratories and computing facility in the department by their class teachers. All the students visited labs and have awareness about the latest technology and equipments available in the department. After Half Hour break Dr. M.S. Narlawar given the brief introduction about department through his presentation.

ELECTRRICA

Department of Electrical Engineering organized the most awaited Technical Fest ‘Electrrica 19.0’ on 23-24 August 2019 by the students of the college under the banner of SOFEE (Society Of Future Electrical Engineers). The event commenced by the installation ceremony and the committee welcomed Er. Pranav Ambaselkar, Chief Guest for the occasion. His speech emphasized the importance of having brilliant communication skills in order to be successful in any field. There was a colourful welcome followed by the lighting of lamp to seek the blessings of lordess Saraswati . Mr. Shubham Bakwaskar was the Guest of Honor. Electrica had more than 700 participants.

Stress Relief & Pranic Healing Session


Department of Mathematics & Humanities organized a ‘Stress Relief & Pranic Healing Session’ Language Lab, YCCE in association with Yoga Vidya Pranic Healing Foundation of Maharashtra. Ms. Anuja Pandey, Advanced Pranic Healing Expert, Mr. Nikhil Sawansukha, Business Head at Airavat Corporate Services Pvt. Ltd. and Ms. Kirti Dauskar, Pranic Healer were present from the Foundation. The event involved topics on how to deal with Stress, how to imbibe happiness values, rituals and so on. The event was successfully managed by the Students Team of Language Lab. The session was unique in its kind and all attendees found the session productive.

In House Debate Competition

Department of Mathematics & Humanities, Language Lab. & Literature Club of YCCE organized an ‘In House Debate Competition’ on 10th Oct.-2019. Looking towards the need of time and the growing presence of Artificial Intelligence the topic for the debate was “Artificial Intelligence : Boon or Curse”. Nearly 30 teams from various departments of YCCE participated. The ignited minds of debated were judge by veteran actor of Nagpur Mr. Abhay Naghate and Dr. Hemlata Wasnik, Prof. Physics Department YCCE. The program organizer were Ashay Date & Aditay Deshpande of Mechanical Engineering Department.
Compufest-2k19

Department of Computer Technology organized National Level Technical event “Compufest-2k19” sponsored by VIVO under the banner of CTSC and ACMSC on 23rd -24th August 2019. Various domain specific technical events were organized for improving the technical skills of more than 700 student participants from various colleges like G. H. Raisoni COE, G. H. Raisoni Academia, Priyadarshini COE, Priyadarshini Institute of Engineering & Technology, Shivaji Science, Anjuman COE, KDKCOE, NIT, Nagpur, Sadabai Raisoni Women’s College, Somalwar High School. Coding Competition (Get Set code) and technical workshops like BUILD-AI, #HACK, Android Programming (DROID) Photography (Shutterup), Web application development (Webspace) were conducted during the event
  • Two days National Seminar on “Waste to Energy : A Solution for Tomorrow” was held during 20-21 September 2019
    Aiming to provide a platform to relook holistically the tactic for Superlative Waste Management Practices considering to all crucial aspects including natural, socio-economic and environment which will forecast the creations of alternative energy resource for creating sustainable environment from waste, Department of Civil Engineering, YCCE organised two days National Seminar on “Waste to Energy : A Solution for Tomorrow” during 20-21 September 2019. The Chief Guest Dr. M.B. Kumthekar, Principal, Govt. College of Engineering, Nagpur, Guest of Honour, Er. V.M. Galande, Project Director, Nagpur, Dr. U.P. Waghe, Principal , YCCE & Dr. S.R. Khandeshwar, HoD, Department of Civil Engineering grace the Inaugural function. On the address note by Dr. M.B. Kumthekar, he stressed on the need of area of concerned Waste to Energy and to Wealth. The concluding power packed lecture on Waste to Energy conversion: A Step Towards Converting Waste to Wealth and Achieving Sustainability delivered by Dr. A.R. Tembhurkar, Professor, VNIT, Nagpur which was a very interactive session focusses on need of maximum exploration of energy conversion and adoption of innovating techniques evolving in the coming modern research era.
  • One Day Workshop on Entrepreneurial Awareness
    Department of Civil Engineering; organized one day workshop on ‘Entrepreneurial Awareness’. The programme is chaired and inaugurated by Dr. A. R. Gajbhiye, in Presence Chief Guest of program Mr .C.S. Dodke, Former Asst. Director MSME –GOI on Friday 27thSeptember 2019. Mr. C. S. Dodke started the workshop with a very creative introductory session, where students had to introduce themselves in a novel way.  89 students from III, V, VII Sem were attended for program< /li>
  • One Day Workshop on Designing of RCC Building
    Department of Civil Engineering; YCCE and IE (I) Student Chapters organized one day Workshop on ‘Designing of RCC Building’. The programme is chaired and inaugurated by Dr. A. R. Gajbhiye in Presence Chief Guest of program Mr. Satish Raipure, Mr. P. S. Patankar, Mr. Virendra Dehadrai, Mr. Suneel Voitel on Friday 11th October2019. The purpose of conducting the workshop is to give an exposure to the students in the area of Structural Analysis and Design which will help them in completing their design project effectively.  63 students from V, VII Sem BE and M-tech Structural Engg were attended for program.
  • One day workshop organized for students by Dr. Pravin Zode Prof. Sandip Kakde & Mrs. P.P. Zode, Astt. Prof. on Career in VLSI Industry on 20.7.2019.  14 students has participated in this program.
  • One day workshop organized for students,on Bluetooth Controlled Robot using Atmega on 20.7.2019 Expert Mr.Shrikant Bhandarkar, Director,Mr.Niket Malusare, Director, Mr.Sanjyot Kawale, Mr.Sameer Kalmegh,Electrus Technologies Pvt.Ltd.Nagpur.24 students has participiated in this workshop.   • One day workshop organized for students, on PCB layout design using PROTEUS on 10.8.2019 Valuable guidance given by Dr.Mrs.M.N.Kalbande Dr.Y.A.Gaidhani, Dr.T.G.Panse, Mrs. R.S. Balpande. 42 students were present in this workshop,
  • Workshop organized for faculty on Basics on Arduino on 16.8.2019. Dr.P.T.Karule, HoD has shared technical skill with faculties.
  • Workshop organized for 5th Sem students on Aptitude Development on 04.09.2019. Mr.Rishi Chaurasia, Founder Vikalp Management Education, Nagpur has shared technical skill with students. 106 students were present for the workshop. Mrs.S.A.Dhondse, Co-ordinator of this program.
  • IEEE xtreme 13.0 – an 24 hours online international coding competition held on 19th Oct 2019 started at 5:30am and ends in 20 ,Oct 2019 at 5:30 am. From ycce total 26 teams participated in this event. Out of these, seven teams ranks under one thousand all over the world. In Region 10 Asia and Pacific, 17 ycce teams are have rank in first 250. Dr.P.M.Palsodkar, Dr.S.S.Khade & Dr. P.Dorge has taken effort for success of events.




  • IEEE YESIST 12 Prelim at YCCE Pilot Project Competition
    Prelim round of IEEE YESIST12 was organized by the Department of Electronics Engineering on 30 June 2019.  Total six teams participated for final finale selection. Mr.Bhaskar Sharma, Head Business Initiative Manufacturing ISU_Aerospace & Defence TCS,Nagpur who is an 1993 batch pass out of Electronics Engineering , YCCE campus has visited YCCE campus and gave the  project award to project titled “Flight Control System for Multirotor UAVs by Dghanashree Bahatkar, Himanshu Kosekar,Palash Bhusari, Swati Patle Under guidance of Prof . M.S.Pawar & HoD, Dr.P.T.Karule
  • Department of Electronics & Telecommunication, organized one day workshop on “Campus Recruitment Guidance” under IEEE Student Branch YCCE.
  • This workshop was conducted in view of TCS Campus Placement drive scheduled on 3-4 August 2019.  The main focus of the workshop was National Qualifier Test with more emphasis on aptitude test and programming.
  • Program session was started by giving brief introduction about the workshop content by Dr. Yogita Chitriv. Er. Jayant Kshirsagar briefed about National Qualifier Test and gave some important tips to crack this exam. He demonstrated the English paragraph writing and explained students to give more focus on English grammar.  
  • Er. Lalit Kawadase discussed the complete checklist to crack the aptitude test. He conducted an aptitude test for student with few examples which are repeatedly asked in the campus placement.
  • Department of Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering organized two days Workshop on “Deep Learning Industry Requirements & Applications” for the UG/PG students on 10-11 Aug., 2019 under YCCE IEEE Student Branch. Er. Nitin Satpute, Founder, Paramonus Systems Pvt. Ltd., Nagpur was expert for this seminar.
  • In order to enhance the Software Skills of students, Department of Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering organised  one day Workshop (Webinar) on “Communication Networks using Net Sim” for the Final year SC/ST students of ET,CT,IT, EE branches of YCCE, Nagpur under the Skill and Personality Development Programme Centre for SC/ST students (SPDP), on 17 October 2019. The Experts were Ms. Namrata Saraswat, Sr Application Engineer from TETCOS, Bangalore.
  • Department of Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering organised two days workshop on ‘Machine Learning using TENSOR FLOW’. The workshop is conducted under the banner of IEEE Student Branch, YCCE, Nagpur, in collaboration with Google Crowd Source. This workshop is specially design for the beginners in hands on training on ML. The workshop is open for all over the Vidharbha Region from all Engineering Colleges. The total 15 students participated from different colleges.
  • Department of Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering organized workshop on IoT and Network Communication for seventh semester students on 03/09/2019 at 2.00 PM, YCCE, Nagpur. Around 40+ students participated in this program.  The main objective of the workshop was to explore new research platforms in the various aspects related to IoT and Wireless Networks.
  • Department of Electronics and Telecommunication has organized Two days ISTE approved workshop on “ROBOTICS” for Students of III rdsemester on 10th -11th August 2019.  The workshop  was conducted by Mr. Shrikant Bhandarkar/Mr. Aniket Malusare Director Electus Technologies Private Limited, Nagpur. Total 39 students were present.
  • Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering has organized Three days ISTE approved workshop under Aegis of IQAC, YCCE on “Circuit Designing And Simulation using Matlab“for Students of III Sem on 29-09, 02-10 & 06.10.2019. The workshop was conducted by Prof. D. K Thote, Prof. M. S. Patil& Prof. A. A. Madankar. Total 40 students were present for this workshop.
  • A Workshop on “Fundamental Concepts of Mathematics” organized by Department of Applied Mathematics and Humanities, YCCE.  With an intent to clarify and fortify  the basic mathematical concepts essential for further studies of Engineering and Technology, a Workshop – “Fundamental Concepts of Mathematics” was organized from 29th to 31st  July 2019 by Department of Applied Mathematics and Humanities, YCCE ,for the newly admitted students of B.E 1st year. The workshop was a huge success as it benefitted more than 500 students. During this workshop the basic concepts on various topics such as Derivatives, Integrations, Trigonometry, Matrices and use of Mathematics in real world were explored.
  • Department of Computer Technology organized an ‘Induction Program’ for Second year students on 13th June 2019. Dr. G. M. Dhopavkar, HOD of the department presented all the information regarding academics, placement statistics and the various activities and facilities provided by the department. Prof. R. D. Wajgi informed the students regarding Coding Club and the Speaker’s Club. Prof. P. V. Barekar addressed the students regarding students chapter ACMSC and CTSC and their benefits urging active participation.
  • ACM student Chapter, Department of Computer Technology, organized two days workshop on “Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning”, in association with ACM, Nagpur Chapter during 9 & 10 August 2019. Around 45 students from various engineering colleges including YCCE participated in the workshop. Dr. K. K. Bhoyar, Prof. T. R. Ravi, Er. Vinit Kapoor, Dr. Gauri Dhopavkar, Prof. Rakhi Wajgi delivered expert sessions on important topics in AI and ML with hands-on practice, during the workshop.
  • Department of Computer Technology organized an event on 19th August 2019,inviting Ms. Shubhada Jambhekar, Assistant Manager (HR, Operations) and Mr. Utsav Bhakre, the UI Developer from Torana Inc. which is a product development company with its headquarters in Stamford, USA and Nagpur, India. Ms. Shubhada briefed the students using a presentation about the company’s product iCEDQ which is a user-configurable business rules engine for ETL.
GATE 20 Preparation


Department of Computer Technology (ACMSC & CTSC) organized an orientation program on “GATE 20 Preparation” on 20th August 2019. 50 Students from 5th and 7th Sem attended this seminar. Mr. Sachin Mankawde, Senior consultant from GATE Forum interacted with the students.

The department of Computer Technology organized a seminar on 28th August 2019, conducted by Mr. Rishi Chaurasia from VIKALP. He told the students about importance of MBA. He also briefed them about the importance of Aptitude and reasoning in every competitive exam. At the end of the session, students were asked to solve question paper which contained 7 question’s that were asked in previous CAT exams.

Higher Education Exams


Department of Computer Technology organized a seminar on “Higher Education Exams” on 28th August 2019, conducted by Mr. Hitesh Devani, from HR Mentors, Nagpur. The students were briefed about the campus recruitment drives. Students were informed about the advantages of pursing higher studies and were motivated to prepare for the entrance exams.

Department of Computer Technology organized workshop on “Cloud Technology”, on 1st October 2019. The resource person for the workshop was Mr. Anil Tatode, Training Officer, RTMNU’s Department of Robotics and Cloud Technology, Nagpur. The speaker gave introduction to Cloud Computing and discussed about revenue generation in Cloud technology in India and Globally. Speaker also discussed about jobs and employment opportunity Cloud technology. Total 42 students of the department attended the workshop

Department of Computer Technology organized a seminar on 10th October 2019 which was conducted by “T.I.M.E”, an institute that prepare its students for higher studies. Mr. Mehul Zunzunwala, Director, T.I.M.E., Nagpur, interacted with students. He answered different queries of all the students who attended the seminar. 123 students of 5 SEM and 94 students of 7 SEM attended the seminar. The session was very helpful for the undergraduates who wish to opt for higher studies.

Blockchain Technology


Department of Computer Technology organized a workshop on “Blockchain Technology” on 12th October 2019. Mr. Ajinkya Narwade, from Tata Consultancy Services Limited, Nagpur, conducted the workshop. The speaker introduced students with the Blockchain concept and the technical details, implementations and user cases were discussed. Total 38 Students from 2nd and 3rd year attended this workshop.

Department of Computer Technology organized workshop on “VB .Net” on 15 & 19 October 2019 for the students of 2nd Year. Mr. Vishal Deshmukh, who is alumnus of Computer Technology department and working at Tata Consultancy Services Limited, Nagpur, conducted the workshop. The speaker introduced students with the concept of VB .Net and hands on implementation sessions were taken.
