To act as a seamless conduit between the Institute and Industry, identifying the requirements of the industry, mapping them with industry readiness and core competencies of students, identifying and filling the gaps through enhanced training so as to make them relevant with the global industrial needs
To assist the holistic development of the students with balanced set of technical skills, interpersonal skills and with a positive attitude towards life and to be the interface between the Institute and Industry.
Working effectively and efficiently, T & P liaises with various industries and associations to facilitate training, getting live projects as well as providing best possible placement opportunity to the students. The department also takes care to ensure active interaction with the industry by organizing guest lecturers/seminars/interactive sessions with HR managers of reputed companies and Alumni.
T & P regularly conducts technical sessions, career development programmes; guest lectures on personality development, resume writing, group discussions, interview techniques and mock interview with the help industry professionals. Students are encouraged to participate in various Coding & Technical contests
Cell also helps departments to organize Guest Lectures, Value Added Courses relevant to edge cutting technologies.
Placement Orientation sessions are held for the Pre-Final Year students at the end of 5th Semester. A 100 hour Campus Recruitment Training (CRT) is provided to all the 6th Semester students in between 6th and 7th semester during summer vacation. Before the CRT, Pre-Assessment Test is conducted by reputed professional assessing agencies and the results are shared with students to know his/her strength & weakness about Aptitude Test (English/Quantitative Techniques/Logical Reasoning, Domain Knowledge & Coding/Programming) After the CRT, Post-Assessment test is again conducted to check improvement of the students. The modules of the CRT are regularly validated by Senior HR professionals of Top MNC’s.
The Cell has an excellent track record in placing students in reputed organizations. All the reputed organizations including MNCs come to the College for campus recruitment. The students in turn have made the college feel proud by excelling in their roles. It has been the department’s endeavour to develop competent human resources with necessary technical skills and responsible citizens for the society. We take feedback from industries regarding designing/changing of curriculum so that high quality is achieved in technical education and professional guidance imparted at this institute.
In addition to this the T&P Cell provides guidance to students desirous of pursuing higher education in India and Abroad.
We have an active Entrepreneurship Development Cell where programmes are planned to provide necessary information, encouragement and guidance to the students to become successful entrepreneurs. Under TBI, every department has established start up to develop and support entrepreneurship ecosystem.
With the initiative from T&P Department college has signed MOUs with many industrial chambers/organization.
The Training and Placement Cell of YCCE is headed by Dean (Training & Placement) and has a full time Training and Placement Officer along with a team of dedicated and committed Departmental coordinators support staff members who play a pivotal role in counseling and guiding the students for their successful journey from Campus to Corporate
