Milestones of YCCE

  • YCCE was started in 1984 with 3 UG programmes having an intake of 180. Today after 40 years, YCCE is an Empowered Autonomous institution affiliated to Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University with 13 UG programmes and 06 PG programmes with 6000 students on campus.

  • 1st Self-finance Institution in Central India to Receive Autonomous status by UGC and RTMNU in 2010.

  • All the technical departments are approved research centers of Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University 118 students have registered for Ph.D. programs in various disciplines and 161 students have been awarded Ph.D.

  • The Institution is accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with an A++ Grade and a score of 3.60 and became 1st Engineering College in Maharashtra for the highest score.

  • Various UG & PG programs have been accredited & re-accredited by NBA, New Delhi since 2003.

  • Civil, Electronics, and Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering Programmes are NBA accredited for 6 Years up to 2029.

  • Consistently within 200 in NIRF Ranking since 2016.

  • Selected by Ministry of MSME for establishment of Technical Business Incubation Centre under ASPIRE scheme in 2019.

  • Established YCCE TBI Foundation as Section 8 Company and 16 Start Ups are running.

  • Received ISTE National Award for Best Private Engineering College in the country in Nov. 2014.

  • Selected under World bank funded project TEQIP-I (Technical Education Quality Improvement Program Phase-I) and received financial assistance of Rs. 8.46 crores.

  • Established Siemens Centre of Excellence for digital manufacturing and robotics under the AICTE NAFETIC scheme with financial assistance of Rs. 1.0 crore.

  • Completed Joint Research Project with Harward University, USA, DMIMS Deemed University, Wardha on the topic Development of a Neonatal Assessment tool for vital sign monitoring.
