Procedure for B.Tech. First Year Students

Online registration of application for admission through a computer connected to the Internet on the website http://fn.mahacet.org/ for FN/OCI/PIO, Foreign National should go in person with the print of online filled application form & required documents for verification & confirmation to the following address as per dates given by the competent authority.

In addition to the above, candidates (Foreign National / PIO/OCI quota) have to follow the procedure as given below:

i) Eligible candidates desirous to seek admission in B.Tech. First Year under this category, are required to submit their Admission Request Form (ARF), along with the required documents to admission@ycce.edu.

ii) The last date for submitting the ARF under FN / PIO / OCI category is  //2024.

iii) The Provisional allotment, as per merit based on PCM after scrutiny will be carried out on //2024 as per DTE guidelines. Candidates will also be intimated through their emails. Candidate has to confirm his/her admission by paying the full fee and submitting the required original documents up to / /2024. This provisional admission will be subject to the submission of additional documents such as an eligibility certificate from the concerned university and a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Foreign Students Advisor of Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur.

University (RTM Nagpur University), Nagpur, before the cut-off date of admissions declared by D.T.E . (State CET CELL) (NOC is applicable to FN / PIO / OIC).

iv) Application Request Form (ARF) against vacancies (if any), under NRI Ward / FN / PIO / Children of Gulf NRI, can be submitted for consideration under Vacancy Round.

v) Based on the “Provisional Admission Letter” the candidate is required to contact the Indian Embassy of their country to obtain a valid student visa for complete tenure of the course i.e., for FOUR years (This is applicable for FN / PIO/OCI students only).

vi) The confirmation of the provisional admission under FN/PIO/OCI Ward, is subject to the final approval by the competent authority / Director of Technical Education / Admission Regulating Authority, Mumbai.

vii) Once the final approval is obtained, the candidate has to complete the Enrollment process at RTM Nagpur University. On completion of the enrollment process, every student on the approved list gets a unique enrollment number.

Note:

i) An Eligibility Certificate can be obtained from the concerned university (RTMNU), even before the provisional admissions after submitting the application in the prescribed form along with the fee.

ii) No objection Certificate: After getting the eligibility certificate from RTM Nagpur University, the candidate is required to contact the Foreign Student Advisor of RTM Nagpur University. The candidate will be required to get a medical certificate in the prescribed format, from the Civil Surgeon, at Mayo Hospital, Nagpur, after going through some required medical tests. After receiving the medical certificate, the Foreign Student’s Advisor will direct the candidate to pay INR 40,000/- to the University, then the NOC is issued.

iii) In case, the results of “A” level / XII / equivalent examination are awaited, the candidates can also apply for provisional admission. However, they are required to submit the “A” level / XII or equivalent examination certificate at the time of confirmation of admission.

iv) Admission in the Hostel, if needed, may be taken at the time of confirmation of admission. Documents required for provisional admission:

i) The candidate has to register on the DTE (State CET CELL) website and get a Unique ID.

ii) HSSC/XII Marks Sheet / “A” Level or equivalent certificate examination passed/appeared with English, Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics as essential subjects.

iii) SSC/X Marks sheet / “O” level certificate or equivalent certificate.

iv) School / College Leaving / Transfer Certificate.

v) Migration Certificate.

vi) Nationality Certificate / Citizenship Certificate.

vii) VISA (Either working / business) of NRI / Guardian of NRI.

viii) Employer Certificate or Salary Certificate of NRI.

ix) Passport copy of NRI / Guardian of NRI.

x) Transcripts, if any (applicable for Foreign Students).

xi) NOC From RTM, Nagpur University (applicable for Foreign Nationals / PIO / OCI).

xii) Equivalence Certificate from Association of Indian Universities, Delhi (address: AIU house,16 Comrade Indrajit Gupta Marg, New Delhi-2)

FEE STRUCTURE / REFUND RULE / PROCESSING FEE FOR ADMISSIONS IN FIRST YEAR B.Tech. FOR FN / PIO / OCI STUDENTS FOR THE ACADEMIC SESSION 2024-25

Fees & Expenses for admission in academic year 2024-25

Branches: Computer Science & Engineering, Artificial Intelligence & Data Science, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering.

Note:

• In case of payments through NRO/NRE accounts equivalent Indian Rupee at the rate of 83 per USD.
• An additional non-refundable processing fee of rupees 10,000 is to be payable while filling the Admission request form by DD in favor of Principal Yeshwantrao Chavan College of Engineering, Nagpur.
  

Refund Rule:

• In case of cancellation of admission under FN/PIO/OCI Category made before—————  then proportionate monthly charges of Tuition + Development + Other fee, will be deducted. In case of cancellation after the cut-off date, no refund will be made, except for a refundable caution money deposit of INR 25,000.
