Welcome to the Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering of Yeshwantrao Chavan College of Engineering, Nagpur.
Our Department is known for it’s highly learned and Experienced Faculty. Almost half of faculty members have completed their doctoral research in different domains of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering. The research interests of the faculty members of the department encompass the wide area of applied and fundamental aspects of
Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering. The broad areas of research and academic activities in the department include Wireless Communication and Antenna Design, Signal and Image Processing and VLSI design and Embedded Systems. The Department has successfully completed a large number of sponsored research projects funded by various agencies such as DST, AICTE, Harvard University etc. the Department has many state of the art facilities for assisting research and development in in the area of Antenna Design, Communication Networking and Computer Vision. Focused student centric Teaching learning with strong emphasis on Project based Learning, Excellent Industry Institute Interaction and student placement in reputed software and electronics industries includes the highlights of the department. Our enthusiastic team of faculty, graduate, post-graduate and doctoral students continue to make rapid strides in all spheres of education.
