The Department of Computer Technology has recorded consistent improvement in its Academic, Placement and Research performance. It offers a range of innovatively designed scheme, whose curricula is constantly updated to meet the ever changing requirement of the industry and to meet the expectations of major stakeholders. We have designed our syllabus to strike a balance between professional knowledge and personal skills. We are confident that our current curriculum has enabled the overall development of budding professional to meet the expectations of the corporate and research world. During study at the department, the students are encouraged to get hands-on experience in the potential areas desired by corporate world and research organizations through innovative pedagogical methods ensuring participation of all types of learners with supporting state of the art infrastructure.
Recently department established NVIDIA Centre of Excellence Lab containing state of art hardware and software required for advanced research in the domain of AI, ML, DL, CV, IoT etc.
Through Industry aligned electives offered in association with reputed industries, students get perfect blend of core knowledge as well as exposure to edge cutting technology Department has Approved ACM student chapter since 2008 and approved CodeChef coding chapter monitoring institute level coding activities.
We also encourage students to organize events such as Compufest (A National Level Technical Fest), participate in various technical, cocurricular events organized by other colleges and also get involved in activities of social relevance.
Most of our alumni found employment in companies of high repute, in India and abroad. A significant number of students every year seek admission in eminent institutes (IITs/IISC/IIMs) for higher studies (MTech/ME/MS/MBA) in India and abroad.
Our department is continuously striving hard to be true to the vision on which it was founded.
