The Dept. of Computer Science & Engineering has a student Chapter known as ‘COSMOS’. It stands for ‘Computer Science Management and Organizing Structure’. Under COSMOS students undertake various activities of Social & Technical importance & also plan various competitions.

The aim is to increase the involvement of the majority of students in various events, thereby enhancing their personality & increase their employability skills.

COSMOS acts as an umbrella body for all of the activities of the CSE department and oversees the proper organizing & smooth functioning of various events in the department. Motive is to add up an edge in addition to academics by organizing activities, tech fest, events, etc. The annual event is ‘UPSURGE’ which is a National-level tech fest organized by the COSMOS Committee.
