Established in 1984, Yeshwantrao Chavan College of Engineering, Wanadongri, Nagpur is a premier technical institution in Central India having NAAC Accreditation with A++ Grade and all eligible departments are accredited by NBA. YCCE provides conducive environment for aspiring technical faculty members with excellent qualification and track record.

Faculty Requirement Notice

A) Teaching faculty positions are available in following departments :

B. Tech.

  • Computer Technology
  • Information Technology
  • Computer Science & Engineering
  • Artificial Intelligence and Data Science
  • CSE (Artificial Intelligence and Machine learning)
  • Computer Science & Design
  • CSE (Internet of Things)

Online applications are invited from Indian nationals, including Persons of Indian Origins (PIOs) and Overseas Citizens of India (OCIs) for the posts of Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor in various disciplines as mentioned above.

Minimum Qualification (for all faculty positions):
  • PhD with first class or equivalent at the preceding degrees in the appropriate branch, with a very good academic record throughout.
  • The applicant should possess proven research acumen evident from quality publications, awards of sponsored research grants and intellectual property created. (Please refer AICTE minimum qualifications for the appointment of teacher’s regulation)

Qualifications: As per AICTE norms

Applicants applying for the post of Assistant professor in engineering discipline must possess B.E./B. Tech degree in the relevant discipline.


The mere possession of minimum qualifications does not entitle a candidate to be called for interview. The institute may restrict the number of such candidates to a reasonable limit based on qualifications and experience, which may be higher than the essential qualifications prescribed here in above.

Higher initial pay to exceptionally qualified and deserving candidates may be considered.

Applicant not found suitable for higher positions may be considered for lower positions in the same area of specialization.

  • Candidates will be required to list out their proposed, ongoing and completed research projects.
  • Write a short paragraph on the teaching philosophy and strategy you plan to pursue. List your achievement in research, innovation and administration and your role in them.
  • If physically challenged, please provide all the details with relevant certificates.
  • Applicants who are employed in Government, Semi-Government Organizations should send their applications through proper channel else, they will be required to produce a ‘No Objection Certificate (NOC)’ from their employer at the time of interview.

B) Incubation Manager YCCE TBI Foundation (Section 8 company)

YCCE TBI Foundation is a Non-govt section 8 company incorporated on 30 October 2018 for technology business incubation. It is registered at Registrar of Companies, Mumbai.

Qualification :
  • B.E/B.Tech , MBA

Experience :
  • 1 to 5 years of experience in account management, relationship management, operations, and marketing in start-ups or start-up ecosystems.
  • Passionate individuals with a learning attitude who aspire to be entrepreneurial and create a nurturing environment for entrepreneurs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an eye for detail.
  • Ability to quickly understand and articulate core values and value proposition.
  • Ability to think outside the box and suggest big and small growth ideas to improve how we do things.
  • Equal enthusiasm for both day-to-day execution tasks and bigger picture projects.
  • Team player with strong execution capabilities and leadership potential.
  • Entail skills of Market research/Data-driven / Analytical / Benchmarking / Decision support.
  • Experience in specific sectors like Agriculture/Medtech/Edutech, the rural value chain will be added advantage

Roles and responsibilities:
  • Manage the day-to-day interaction with the Incubatees.
  • Provide support to entrepreneurs across ideation, acceleration, investment, and scale-up stage.
  • Ensure management of milestones and progress of entrepreneurs and start-up companies.
  • Connect start-ups with resources and opportunities that can enable growth.
  • Facilitate and organize regular mentor meetings, check-ins, and reviews to deliver the program inputs.
  • Enable strategic guidance to entrepreneurs in areas such as business modelling sales, and marketing, financing, fundraising, overall strategy, operations, etc.
  • Guide and support start-ups for fundraising activity.
  • Manage Fabrication Laboratory activities.
