Additional Information - Brief Biodata Sumant G. Kadwane has done his B.E. in Electrical Engg. from Nagpur University at Y.C.C.E in year 1999, M.E. in Control Systems from Pune University at Govt. College of Engg. Pune in 2002 and Ph.D. in Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, India in Jan 2010. He has worked as faculty in the department of EEE at BIT, Mesra for 7 years and currently Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at Y.C.C.E. Nagpur from 2015 teaching both UG and PG students. He has guided over 25 PG students with various control and DSP based projects. Submitted 4 PhD thesis under the guidance and presently guiding 3 PhD scholars. He has published 19 international journals including IEEE, IET, Elsevier and Taylor & Francis and more than 30 IEEE conferences. He has 2 AICTE based RPS and MODROBS completed projects in his credit. He has organized and participated in around 50 short term events and have been the reviewer for international journals and has also chaired the session at IEEE conference in Texas US and Singapore. He has conducted various workshops on Microcontroller, DSP Processor and Matlab. He is member of ISTE, Fellow IE(I) and Senior member IEEE. He has visited various countries for presenting papers and has seasoned chair for IEEE conferences in US, Itay and Singapore and various states in India. He is Editor in Chief for Journal for Research in Engineering and Applied Sciences Published from central India and have been Associate Editor of IEEE Access Journal. He has filed 3 Indian patents. His areas of interest are control system design, power electronic converters and renewable energy.
