Eligibility For Maharashtra Candidature Candidates and All India Candidature Candidates
  • The Candidate should be an Indian National;
  • Passed Bachelor Degree in the relevant field of Engineering and Technology from All India Council for Technical Education or Central or State Government approved institutions or equivalent, with at least 50% marks (at least 45% marks in case of candidates of Backward class categories and persons with disability belonging to Maharashtra State only);
  • Passed Bachelor Degree in the relevant course of Engineering and Technology as specified in the eligibility criteria for admission to a Post Graduate Degree course of the concerned University for which admission is being sought;
  • Obtained score in Graduates Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE-2017) conducted by Indian Institute of Technology;
OR
  • For sponsored candidates, minimum of two years of full time work experience in a registered firm/ company/ industry/ educational and/ or research institute/ any Government Department or Government Autonomous Organization in the relevant field in which admission is being sought.

Admission Procedure
  • Registration by candidate for CAP is Mandatory / Compulsory, for admission against Centralized Admission Process (CAP) Seats as well as Institute Level Quota (ILQ) Seats,
  • After online registration candidate should take printout of application form & visit one of the Facilitation center (FC) notified on DTE website, for confirmation of application form & document verification.
  • Candidate must carry all Original documents for verification while visiting FC.
  • Candidate must take acknowledgement from FC after confirmation of application form.
  • Only those candidates will be included in Merit list prepared by competent authority, who have confirmed their applications at FC.
A) CAP Round Admission :
 
80% seats admission are allotted through CAP rounds based on GATE score as per the guidelines published by SCET Cell / DTE, Government of Maharashtra, on website www.dtemaharashtra.gov.in
The seats remaining vacant after offering admissions through CAP round I to III due to non allotment, Non-reporting and cancellations will be filled as per the SCET Cell Govt. of Maharashtra guidelines at institute level against CAP vacancy.

B) Institute Level Quota Admission :
The Institute level merit list (PCML / FCML) for the Candidates shall be prepared amongst the application received against 20% ILQ quota based on Merit number assigned by Competent Authority on the basis of marks secured by the candidate in GATE-2017. (As per the guidelines published by SCET Cell / DTE, Government of Maharashtra).

All eligible and desirous candidates are required to fill the Admission Application Form (AAF) which is available on the college website www.ycce.edu .
AAF is also available at institute and Admission Counseling Centre, NYSS office, Atrey Layout, Pratap Nagar, Nagpur.

Candidates can submit their, duly filled downloaded Admission Application Form (AAF) personally by paying Rs. 1000/- Cash / Demand Draft at institute.
Outstation candidates can post AAF alongwith Demand Draft of Rs.1000/- (non refundable) in favour of ‘Principal, YCCE, Nagpur’, payable at Nagpur.   Candidates may download AAF from college website, fill and submit personally / by speed post / by courier, along with the Demand Draft and attested photocopies of required documents to the following address:

All duly filled AAFs should reach the Institute on or before Sunday 30th July 2017 upto 5:00 PM.
4.
After last date all eligible forms will be scrutinized and Provisional College Merit List (PCML) will be prepared and displayed on College Website on Monday 31st July 2017 after 3.00 PM. Students are required to check their merit in PCML by providing requisite details on college website.
5.
Any grievances / Correction in Name, percentage marks etc should be brought to the notice of Admission Cell by filling grievance form on or before, Tuesday 1st August 2017 upto 4:00 PM.
6.
Final College Merit List (FCML) will be displayed on College Website on Tuesday 1st  August 2017 after 5.00 PM.
7.
All candidates are required to attend personally the Institute Level Quota (ILQ) Counseling and Spot Admission Round as per FCML to be held on Friday 4th August 2017, 10:00 am onwards, along with Demand Draft and required documents
8.
All admissions will be done strictly on inter-se merit of FCML at the scheduled time and date. If any candidate fails to attend the counseling on the specified date and time his/her claim will be lost.
